Hairy Armadillo Encounter
Are you ready to meet nature’s tank?! Arma-gosh, an armadillo! Hang out with “Harold” our Hairy Armadillo in this up-close and amazing animal encounter.
Participants will get a private up close encounter with Harold. You and your group will work together to create a fun enrichment item for him, get hands on and feel his protective armor and offer him some of his favorite toys and treats. All this while you learn from our keepers what makes Harold truly awesome.
Coral Explorers
Have you ever wondered what goes into propagating corals at an aquarium? Do you want to help make a difference and grow corals to send to other aquariums? Then check out our coral explorers experience! Guests who book this experience will go behind the scenes to see our coral propagation systems and learn about the corals we grow at the aquarium.
Participants will learn about the different types of equipment that is needed for growing corals and talk with one of our expert coral caretakers! Your group will watch a propagation (fragging) demonstration and then it will be your turn! Our Coral experts will guide you through the process of propagating while you get your hands wet working with live coral. Participants will receive a commemorative picture of their experience. The coral you fragged will continue to grow here at the aquarium and you will receive a notification email when your coral has been sent to another facility!
